It’s easier to remove stains from clothes if you use salt! It may be surprising, but this common ingredient will help you to do your laundry. And you will find in this article the stains that are easy to be removed with salt!
Soak the stained clothing item in a saline solution (water and salt), and put it to boil! Yes, it is awkward but it works like magic. Right after the water starts to boil, let the water to cool down, and put the stained clothing item in the washing machine, and wash it like usual. If the blood stain is fresh, sprinkle over the stain salt, immediately, and wash with cold water and soap.
Red sauce stains and grease stains
Sprinkle salt immediately if you’ve stained your clothes with red sauce or grease, and then leave the coat to soak in vinegar ammonia. Then wash it like usual and the stains will disappear.
Rub the ink stain with salt, and then leave the fabric to soak overnight in milk. The next day you can wash it with liquid laundry detergent.
Mold stains on clothes
Mix salt with lemon juice until you get a consistent paste and rub the mold stains from clothes or other fabrics with this solution. Leave the laundry to dry in the sun, and then wash them in the washing machine with the usual detergent.
If just stained your favorite blouse with wine, then you should sprinkle immediately salt over the stain to absorb the alcohol. Leave the blouse to soak in cold water for 1 hour, and then wash it like usual.
Ice cream stains
Soak immediately the stained clothing item in lemon juice and sprinkle salt over the stain. Leave the lemon juice and salt to act for a few minutes, and then wash the stained area with cold water. If the stain persists, wash it with warm water and detergent and you will see how the stain slowly starts to fade.
