How To Make Silverware Look Shiny As New Using Baking Soda And Salt

Silverware, whether it’s tableware, decorative items or jewelry, it’s turning black over time. These can be cleaned very easily with baking soda, and in this article I will show you how to do it! This simple and super effective natural solution will make your silverware look shiny as new.

You need:

– 2 glasses of water
– 2 tablespoons of baking soda
– 1 tablespoon of salt

How to proceed?
Put the water in a pot to boil. When it starts to simmer, you should turn off the fire, and add the baking soda and salt. Mix it all well until the baking soda and salt dissolves.

In the obtained solution, add your silver jewelry or other silver items, and let them stand for at least 30 minutes. Then wipe them with a clean sponge soaked in the same solution, and rinse them thoroughly with water!

Careful! Don’t use baking soda paste and don’t sprinkle baking soda powder over the jewelry because you can scratch them.
