Everyone loves chocolate! It’s good for men if it’s eaten by women…joking! But, every time we eat this delightful sweat, it’s basically impossible not to stain your clothes. And most of the time it happens to be your favorite shit or dress. But, it doesn’t matter if you’ve stained your shirt or the living room carpets the stain is kind of hard to be removed.
In the below lines you will find how to easily remove chocolate stains out from clothes and carpets.
Detergent and ammonia
– 1 tablespoon of dish detergent
– half a teaspoon of ammonia
All you have to do is fill a cup with cold water. Add ammonia and dish detergent, and mix well until the ingredients dissolve. Apply the solution directly to the stain in the case of clothes, and rub gently the stained area. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary.
In the case of carpets, soak a clean cotton cloth in the solution obtained and dab the stained area. Repeat the procedure as many times as needed.
Chocolate stains on carpet can also be easily removed with glycerin. All you have to do is dip a clean cloth in glycerin, and rub the stain well. Then leave the glycerin to act for 10 seconds, directly on the stain, and, if necessary, repeat the process.
When the stain disappears, wipe the carpet with a cloth moistened in warm water.
The same trick you can use for clothes too. Apply a small amount of glycerin directly onto the stain, and gently massage with your finger. Let the glycerin to act for 10-15 seconds then rinse the place with warm water. Repeat if necessary.
