It’s a real joy to see the little ones playing outside, and running back and forth through the green playground. But, when you get back home, and see those green grass stains on their clothes, the joy fades, because you know what to expect. Either you start rubbing the stain or you throw the clothing item and buy another one…but that’s kind of expensive. Leaving these awful thoughts aside, you better try the following method that my grandmother shared with me to get rid of green grass stain from your kids clothes.

First of all, you have to act immediately!
Grass stains are easy to be removed from clothes if you try to clean them as soon as you get home.

You need:
– cold water
– vinegar

Mix these 2 ingredients in equal parts, and let the stained clothing item to soak well in this vinegar solution for about 10 minutes. Then, sprinkle over the grass stains some powder detergent based on active oxygen, and rub the stain very well using a soft brush soaked in warm water. As the detergent takes action you will how the stains will disappear.

Now, you just have to put the clothing item in the washing machine and wash as usual.
