How to Get Rid of Mold and Bad Smell From Your Front Load Washer

Washing machines now commonly suffer from a build up of a greasy slime and bacteria.
Many people complain about an unpleasant odor and a strange substance or mold that occur inside the washer, and they blame the limescale or the detergent.

The dirt that occurs inside the washer can be absolutely disgraceful, and some people even replace the washing machine because of this.

When your clothes start to have an unpleasant smell, it’s time to take action. You only need two ingredients to get rid of this problem.

You need 1 liter of white vinegar a glass of bleach. It is very important not to use these two substances together. They can be extremely toxic and poisonous.

For the first washing cycle, mix warm water and chlorine in equal amounts. Wipe the inside parts of the washer with a cloth soaked in this solution. Also, do not forget the door seal area. For hard-to-reach areas, apply a towel soaked in this solution and leave it there for 30 minutes.

For the second step, add vinegar in the detergent compartment and set a washing cycle that uses the highest temperature (no laundry inside!).

At the end, your washer will be free of mold and bad smell.
