How to Clean Your Washing Machine & Get Fid of the Mold Odor on Your Clothes

One of the most unpleasant things you can face is when your clothes get a moldy odor just after you’ve removed them from the washing machine.

Fortunately, there is an extremely easy way to get rid of all the dirt and all deposits that stick to those inaccessible parts of your washing machine. You only need two ingredients.

Now you can clean your washing machine in a simple way and make it look like new, especially when it comes to the drum in which the clothes are washed. All you need is a little bleach and 500 ml vinegar.

First of all, remember: never use these two ingredients together because they are incredibly toxic and poisonous. Instead of combining them (forbidden), you will first use one ingredient, then the other for the second washing cycle.

Start by mixing the bleach with an equivalent amount of warm water, then wipe all accessible areas with a cloth soaked in this strong mix – wipe even under the door seal.

For hard-to-reach areas, simply apply a towel soaked in this solution and let it there for 30 minutes – the bleach will destroy any mold residue. Once you have finished cleaning the washing machine and after rubbing all the accessible parts, start the washing machine and choose a high-temperature washing cycle without putting clothes in – this will rinse the machine from bleach.

For the second washing cycle, add 500 milliliters of white vinegar inside the drum and set the machine to the highest possible temperature. Now your washing machine should be clean, functional and free from mold.

And the cleaning procedure does not cost you anything!
